The Art of Bread

The wife has a turn out on today and my contribution to this affair was to bake my world famous bacon and cheese pull apart. To give you some rough proportions of this monster, its about 400x250x150mm, layers of dough bacon and cheese. Pity i do not get to eat any of it. Its all for the lady conference taking place here HAHAHA.

  1. Now that’s something I could get my teeth into.

Any chance of the recipe once your settled in your new house- congratulations on that too.

    1. Hey Terry, make a basic bread dough, 3 cups of flour, 1 teaspoon salt and sugar, 1 tablespoon yeast and enough water to bring it together and form a smooth ball. Leave rise, then roll it out to about a centimeter thickness and cut into diamonds 2x2cm or there abouts. Toss the cut up pieces on a baking tray and cover with cheese and bacon, cooked onions also are a good edition as are olives. Leave prove then for an hour or 2, and bake in a 220deg oven until it looks nice and the house smells like a bakery 🙂

Thanks for the kind words on the house, been packing up my shack today, 11 boxes so far. Man i have some crap LOL
